Display on my Charge 4 is dead. I inadvertently unpaired it. I cannot see the display to get a 4 digit code to re-pair it. "Customer service" offered me a new one for more than I would pay at Costco or Amazon bc it was 13 months old. Is there some default code I can use to pair until I get a new device (that won't be a FitBit)?

Why would someone report this?

Hi, I’m sorry to hear that your Charge 4 screen went black, unfortunately there is no default code to use. When this happened to me I went into a totally dark room and with my device attached to the charger I was able to see the faint display and connect until I could get another. Since my device was 3 months past the warranty, I was also offered 35% off another device and decline their offer so I understand what you’re saying. Fitbit was always a good brand, but I know that when my current Fitbit stops working it will be my last. I don’t have an answer for your second post.
Good luck!
