Bands won't come off

The metal piece of my original band went missing and I ordered a 3rd party band from Amazon. To replace it, I could easily remove the original bands but when putting the new ones, I displaced the bands such a way that the right side is on the left and vice versa. 

For some reason, I can't remove the bands to place them correctly. I followed the instructions on this forum as well as watched a YouTube video, used screwdriver but still, it won't come off.

Any hint on removing displaced bands?

False alarm! My son was able to remove the bands rather easily 🙂
