Hi!
I have now tried every suggestion I found online, and my device just won't sync. I have Fitbit Charge 2. It was working fine until 27th of April when the battery died, I charged it and device started working again and is showing full battery but isn't syncing to the app (I have iPhone) and the app says battery dead. What should I do next?

not sure what you actually tried. did you try removing the device from the app and adding it back in? i've had to do that once or twice in the past myself and that worked.

Have you gone through the steps as suggested in this article? If so and that didn't fix it, it is time to contact support.

Please @hanskinanski, do not remove the tracker from the app. This onl6 5ells F8tbit tha5 your not using it anymore. When you go to det it up again, you will find that it can not be setup becaise the comunication doesnt work. This is why you can't sync.
Not knowing what was tried, ill probably will duplicate.
Try a restart of the tracker http://help.fitbit.com/?q=restart
Now remove the Charge 2 from the phones Bluetooth.
Now restart the phone.
As for the battery level? The app only knows what level the battery was durring the last sync,. As you said the last sync was 7 da6s ago

I have the same problem. The battery of my fitbit charge 2 died yesterday. The battery is now fully charged but I can no longer sync my fitbit with my iphone.
I have restarted my phone and my Fitbit several times. I have turned bluetooth on and off, I made my iphone forget the bluetooth connection and paired it with my fitbit again.
Nothing works. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

@Hoffa56 your confusing me. Telling the phone to forget the tracker is a good step .Next step is to force a sync through the Fitbit app.
What do you mean by 'pairing it again", this process can only be done by the app during a succesful sync. If you did manage to manualymapair the tracker to the phones bluetooth, the app will never be able to connect to the tracker.

I used the wrong word. maybe 'reconnect' is a better word then 'Pairing it again'.
I made my iphone forget the bluetooth connection to my fitbit. Then I RECONNECTED my fitbit.
The fitbit app shows that my fitbit is connected but it is unable to sync any data.

If the tracker was removed from the Bluetooth then to reconnect the user would force a sync. At this time the OS might request permission.
I still am not sure what step was done to reconect. This is not a step the user should be able to directly do.

i am not sure if you are having the issue still but i also experienced his today (scary moment indeed) but managed to get it to work! here’s how:
i told my iphone to forget the fitbit from my bluetooth.
i went back to the app and tried to sync.
doble taped home button to bring up open apps and closed fitbit.
opened the app from my menu and it reconnected the bluetooth automatically and instantly updated the progress bars show full battery.
hope this helps at least some people!

Thanks!
These worked for me!
1. Go to Bluetoothsettings in your phone and “forget” your ionic.
2. Close (actually shut down) the Fitbit app and then restarting the app again.
I was concerned that “forgetting” the device (in Bluetooth settings) would cause problems when I restarted the app (I thought my ionic would not reconnect with the Fitbit app), but as soon as I restarted the app, it connected right up! It worked flawlessly. Thanks again for the suggestion.

Mine too. I have turned off my iPhone and my iPad and quit blue tooth in Settings and in Fitbit. Still nothing...
