It is nice to see new members around @Ohheyitstabby15! The battery of your Charge 2 should last up to 5 days with normal use, not 2 days, so there are some other tips that I would like to follow to make the battery of your Charge 2 last longer:
- If you don't need heart rate data, change the Heart Rate setting to Off. When you turn it back on, use Auto.
- Turn off Quick View. Since it causes the screen to light up when you turn your wrist towards you, turning this setting off may prolong battery life. To find the setting, open the app and tap Account. At the top of the screen tap Charge 2 and scroll down.
- Don't receive reminders to move every hour. To get fewer reminders, make sure you walk 250 steps each hour, change the number of hours you want your stationary time monitored, or turn off the feature on days you don't need it.
- Turn call, text, or calendar notifications off if you know you're going to receive many hundreds of notifications. A large volume reduces battery life.
- Use guided breathing sessions less frequently. Multiple sessions per day may reduce battery life. For more information see What should I know about the Relax feature?
- If you have many silent alarms set, consider deleting some. Each alarm you add up to the maximum of 8 reduces battery life by a small percentage.
- Don't charge your tracker in extreme heat or cold.
Give it a shot and let me know!

Hey @Ohheyitstabby15 welcome to the Fitbit Community. If you've done all the suggested tips by @HeydyF above, I recommend you contacting support for further assistance.
That's not common behavior for a Charge 2.

Having the same issue here. Mine and my daughter'so have the same settings set. Hers is newer by a few months. Within 1 week of buying it for her, it is losing charge in 1 day or less. Waiting to hear back from support now. Mine lasts approx 4 days with no issues.

Hey @ShyVi, it is great to see new faces around the forums! Sounds pretty weird that your daughter's Charge 2 is holding the battery for around 1 day, but don't worry, in the meantime, I suggest you to take a look into the tips on this post to make her battery to last longer while Fitbit Support reply to your case. Also, as @Ohheyitstabby15 mentioned, you could go to the retailer you purchased it, so they can check some other options if the tips that I gave you don't work.
Let me know how it goes!

My device is a couple of months old and the battery just started to die daily. I read the suggestions, however I've been using my device 24/7 without changing these settings (I never have Always Connected on). To make it worse, syncing stops and I have no warning that the battery is low until I see the icon on the device. I lose a day or more if I'm not near a computer (can't reset). Not happy about this. Could my unit be defective?

Hello @LindaLW, I hope you are doin' fine! Oh! Sounds pretty bad that the battery of your Charge 2 isn't lasting as expected. I would like to suggest you a few things in order to make the battery of you tracker lasts longer. First of all, you have to make sure that you fully charge your Fitbit. One is 100% charged, take a look at the tips in this post. Now regarding the syncing issues, let me suggest you the following:
- Restart your Charge 2
- Syncing issues for Android devices
Let me know how it goes! 😉

Hello
I'm having the same issue... Got my Charge 2 for Christmas 2016, it's worked perfectly until about two weeks ago when it ran out of charge after only 2 days of wearing it. Since then I'm getting 2 days max out of a charge. Normally I get a warning notification and a warning email that the battery is low at 20% but I have not had those emails or notifications. Also usually at 20% it would have lasted the day until I got home from work but the last two times it has just died within about an hour. Can anyone help?
Thanks.

Ditto on the no notifications that the battery is low. Mine died in the middle of the night a couple of days ago. Seems I need to remember to check it. The charge is back to lasting longer, but the notifications that the battery is getting low, preferably on the unit, would be great.

Hey @jenisahen, let me give you a warm welcome to the Forums! 🙂 You'll receive the battery notification when your tracker is at 20% of its charge. However, if the battery of your Charge 2 isn't lasting as expected, I recommend you to take a look at the tips in this post to make the battery lasts longer, 'cause the charge should last up to 5 days with normal use. Give it a try and let me know!
@LindaLW, it is great to see you around! Let me see if I understood, so the battery of your Charge 2 is lasting as it should but you are not getting the low battery notification on your tracker, right? If this is the case, Do the following:
- Go to the gear icon
- Click on the Charge 2 icon
- Click on menu items
- Turn ON the battery option
Keep me posted!

Logged into my account on the computer. I had mobile checked but there is no place to enter my phone number although the app is on my phone. I checked email, will let you know if it works.
Kind regards,
Linda Woellmer

Hi I've tried all the suggested ways to solve the battery issue and I'm still only getting 2 days of battery out of my fitbit. What else can I do? Can it somehow be repaired?
Thanks.
