I see that many users have the same issue getting a message “battery not charging“ when the battery is fully charged. You can’t see any information on your Fitbit until you hook it up to the charger again. It does record, but it’s very frustrating that you can’t view it on your watch. I don’t see that there was ever a solution for this.

I have to leave my Charge 4 in my car during the day, and if it's very hot or cold, I see this message. When I put the tracker on, I just hit the button on the side and it works fine, for me. Have you tried pressing the reset button on the side?

Why are Fitbit still selling these when there is a known problem? I purchased mine oct 22 and get through half the day and it stated battery not charging
