Had my Fitbit charge 2 for 13 months and then earlier this week, the battery drains in 12 hours.  I did online support chat and they told me I would have to buy a new Fitbit - very disappointing response- even with 25% discount.  I’d be happy to pay for a new battery but not a new Fitbit - all suggestions welcome and appreciated

Welcome to the forums!

The batteries are not replaceable Sorry. But try these steps

Please clean the contacts
http://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/My-tracker-s-battery-isn-t-charging/?q=not+chargi...

Then Do a Restart

Also See this thread for charging best practices. If you are not charging it correctly you could be damaging the battery
