Can you change the battery in the tracker? I,m only getting about 6 hours on a full charge. I already have another one that has a good battery life but keeps showing an update bar so it is useless. I was wondering if it is possible to just switch the batteries.

Hi @Heather007 since your device is out of warranty, it can't hurt if you try to swap batteries, but you'd have to search the internet to find out how to do it. Fitbit doesn't sell a battery, as it's part of the whole device. Let us know what happens, sounds interesting. Do make sure to restart your Fitbit to see if you can get the battery to hold a charge longer.

You can't change the battery. Since the thing was stuck on update for a long time I decided to just take it apart and get a look at the insides. The battery looked like it was connected to a wire and impossible to change.

@Heather007 true, there is no battery. Some people have looked online to learn how to replace the battery by soldering.
