My battery icon has all of a sudden gone from my charge 2  why how do I know if my battery is low when out

Hi @Wils778  make sure you have turned that feature on in the app. Try a restart of the device, which often helps with a glitch. Meanwhile, as long as you're syncing, you should see the battery level on your mobile device or computer.  Let us know what happens.

Have done as you said it is still not on my charge 2

From the user manual: "To see the battery screen you must turn on the battery menu item in the Fitbit app."
