Is anyone else having trouble with the biking part? I can't get it to track miles or mph. Any suggestions?

I recently purchased the charge 3. I followed the instructions listed in the response from 9/25/2019 however the bike tracking is totally off. I ride 10 miles a day and some days it may log 2 or 3 miles, some days none, even though I start the exercise program when I begin. I even went to the GPS part on my phone to make sure that was one before I started
Any suggestions?

It's great to see you around @dmiller515. Thanks for the details mentioned.
When you're tracking activities using SmartTrack distance won't be tracked. Please confirm that you're using the exercise app to capture real-time stats, including heart-rate data, calories burned, and elapsed time, for specific workouts.
Choose the biking activity on your Charge 3 and then start the workout when you’re ready. Pause the workout if you take a short break and review the workout summary when you’re done.
Let me know how it goes.

I guess I don’t understand your reply...what’s the point of having that information available on my fitbit if it doesn’t actually track distance? Or am I not doing it the right way in order for distance to show? I thought all I had to do was go to the exercise part and start the program.....no?

Thanks for getting back @dmiller515. Sorry for the delayed reply.
As soon as you start your activity from the Charge 3, it will show you distance information, please confirm you're following these steps:
1. On your tracker, open the Exercise app .
2. Swipe to find an exercise, and tap to choose it.
3. Tap Start to begin the exercise, or tap Set Goal to choose a time, distance, or
calorie goal depending on the activity.
4. Tap the play icon to begin tracking your exercise. Charge 3 shows several
real-time stats including heart rate, calories burned, and elapsed time. Tap the
middle stat to see additional stats.
5. When you're done with your workout or want to pause, press the button.
(Press the button again and tap Finish to end the workout.)
6. Swipe up to see your workout summary.
7. Press the button to close the summary screen
I'll be around if you need further assistance.
