My screen just went blank/black last night. I had just taken it off the charger about an our before, so I know it is charged. The light isn't working either. I tried one of the suggestions I saw mentioned before about plugging it into the charger, holding button for 10-12 seconds until seeing firmware, and then taking off the charger. It did not work. I did see the firmware info, but still nothing from the screen. I am using android (Samsung Galaxy) technology, not iOS. But, frankly, this shouldn't have anything to do with the device itself. I received this as a gift a couple of years ago and don't have the paperwork for it.
