Brand New Charge HR Problem

Hi, I've had my Charge HR for 2 days now and I still can't get it working right. I've read instructions and many forum posts. It will not hold a charge. After charging it 2.5 hours via my computer USB port I unplugged it with a full battery but 20 minutes later the app said it was on 69%. I have all day settings off and have no notifications or alarms. I only use it to count my steps. I've had this problem consistently the past 2 days. Could it be a defective battery? Please help, I don't want to have to send it back.

Send it back. The Charge HR was discontinued 3-4 years ago. It has probably been sitting on a shelf discharged somewhere and that will kill a lithium ion battery.

Mine has been sitting in the box for years. I got it for a present. I decided to try it. After a workout the battery is practically dead!
