Brightness issue Charge 3

Just in the last week, my brightness has faded. I looked to change it in setup and all I see is auto and dim - I used to have an option for “bright” which really lit it up. Now I have to squint to see it in “auto” - what happened? I’ve reset it a couple of times - doesnt work.
