I've only had my Charge2 just over a year but the band has broken twice already. Its cracking behind the metal plate so the screw falls out. 

 

With the new update my fit bit has difficulties syncing with my Samsung 7.

Most bands of this type are not designed to last forever and Amazon has a wide assortment availible for less than 10
