Button not always working

Hey Everyone,

I've had this charge 2 for nearly three years now. Besides the bands that break easily and the cracking screen, I've noticed that the Charge 2 button won't always work if you don't press hard enough from the center. Sometimes I push it more than five times, but the screen still won't turn on. It also makes this clicking sound that isn't very appealing. Is my only option to get another device? Is there a way to fix this? Why won't these expensive products last long? I know there have been upgrades on the charge, but I wish the older versions would last longer and be more reliable.

Hi @CadenPow, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared in your post. To resolve this, I recommend you to try our restart process and also, you may be able to remove dust or dirt by gently using a toothpick around the button. If this does not improve the button performance, you can try to clear debris using canned air. Hold the tracker at arm's length and spray once to loosen any dirt or dust that may have accumulated around the button.

Let me know if further assistance is needed.
