CHARGE 3

I have a charge 3 but can’t find a link to a forum for it, only a charge 4. 

 

My fitbit is charging and is recording my steps etc which I can view via the app. However the screen is black. I have read all previous forums. I have tried all suggestions: 

 

Plugging in to charger and pressing side button for 8 seconds

Changing clock face via app. 

Unable to alter brightness as screen can’t be read. 

 

Any other suggestions?

Same with mine. This is the second time it’s happened ! Original bought Oct2019, screen went Jul 20 & Fitbit replaced pebble. However screen went again Nov 21! Contacted Fitbit but they said as out of guarantee all they would do is offer 35%discount! Continued to use (without watch /display) but now it won’t charge ! I really loved my Fitbit and the app but I won’t be buying another until they take these issues seriously!

Yes, I had a Charge 2 and it stopped working. Bought a Charge 3 and had to return it after a short while as it stopped charging. This one has lasted a little longer but I can’t find my receipt so not sure if I can return it. I too have loved my fitbit but might be time to move on!

Not sure if I should post the below ... but I do believe users should have a choice.

 

There are places to fix Fitbit devices such as https://www.joesge.com/collections/fitbit-repair-parts or https://www.ifixit.com/Device/Fitbit_Smartwatch

 

Need to appreciate that such electronics do have small failure rates. I consider myself as one of the lucky ones. My Charge 4 has been flawless, except for the recent battery % sync issue, since activated 1.5 years ago.
