My Charge 2 shows I've burned 991 calories, yet my dashboard shows I've burned ~874. I've synced in the past minute. Is there anything I can do to solve this problem?

Welcome to our forums @ground.zero I'm happy to assist you today with your calories concern.
Let me share with you that Fitbit devices estimate your calorie burn based on your age, sex, height, and weight. Since your Charge 2 measures heart rate, the calorie burn estimate also takes heart rate into consideration. Please note that the value you see on your Fitbit device when you wake up in the morning is your estimated calorie burn for the day so far. You still burn calories even if you are sedentary or sleeping.
Since you're experiencing this information mismatch with your account and the device, can you please let me know if you're checking this information on Fitbit.com dashboard or in the Fitbit app?
I'll be around.

Thank you for replying. I'm checking this information on the fitbit.com dashboard -- I don't yet have the app. It seemed to have been a minor glitch, however, as when the day reset, the problem fixed itself and the calories burned were tracked correctly both on the dashboard and the device.
