Can't get started

I have received a new charge 3 but cannot get it to connect to my account the only thing on the screen is the fitbit symbol I have restarted phone and watch the furthest I have got is it updated to 38% then stopped so restarted again and the 2 devices find each other I put in code then they don't connect any ideas 🤔 please

Which phone do you have, @Jayneh60 ? Sometimes in a case like yours, it’s helped to move to a room that has no other Bluetooth devices (other than your phone and Fitbit device, of course).  Please try this:

  • Delete the Fitbit app ... verify your phone’s OS is at the latest release ... remove the Fitbit from your Bluetooth settings if it is there ... then power your phone off completely.
  • Charge your Charge 3 completely.
  • Move into a room with no other Bluetooth devices in it.
  • Power your phone back up ... reinstall the Fitbit app ... then try again to set up the new device.

Hi I have a Samsung a41 I have done all that you advised and it gets to where you put the code in then it tries connecting and then says try again
