Can't sync my fitbit after updating the app

My Fitbit did a firmware update on Oct. 4 and up until that point it was working like a charm. It hasn't updated since then and can't sync with the new firmware.
I've tried clearing the cache, force stop on the Android Fitbit app, reboot both the Fitbit and my phone and nothing has worked.
Resorting to removing the device and trying to add it again and now it's stuck on the screen trying to add it.
If it ain't broke don't fix it!!!
Please advise next steps.

They’re going to offer you a crappy 35% discount and want you to purchase another device so they can do it all over again. It’s absurd, as mine was working just fine before it forced me to upgrade. I intentionally turned off the upgrade, as I’d read a bunch of bad things. Apparently, they forced it. It’s a bunch of crap!

Hallo ich hatte das selbe Problem. Ich habe meine fitbit auf Werkseinstellung zurück gestellt und nun läuft sie wieder einwandfrei. Ich weiß es ist nicht der richtige Weg, aber wenn alles wieder wie vorher ist.... Vielleicht hilft dir mein Beitrag. Viel Erfolg. Gruss Sissi
