I went to update my charge3 as it had the wrong day and time for some reason. I plugged it in and started the update from my ipad but it stopped halfway through. Now I keep pressing update tracker but it can’t find my charge3 Bc it’s turned off from when it started updating the first time and I can’t cant get it back on for it to be able to sync up. What do I do?

Welcome on board @Rachel58! Sorry to hear about the inconveniences you've been having while updating your Charge 3.
Occasionally a firmware update will start and stop or otherwise fail. So, make sure your tracker is charged and then try these steps:
Note that if you get notifications from your mobile device on your tracker, before you can use a different device or computer you need to follow the instructions in Why is my tracker only syncing with one mobile device?

Hi MarreFitBit,
I have tried 8 times to update my Charge 3 Fitbit and it says it failed every time. I have done all the recommended instructions in the app and from what you have provided here, and it still won't update. Can you please help or guide me to someone who can? Thank you

I am having the SAME issue with a new Charge 3 that was sent to me to replace the 2 month old Charge 3 that died. After contacting the help center I was told it just takes some time. Really? Hmmm. Like 12 hours? This is nonsense.
For all the rave reviews FitBit gets, I cannot understand why. Nothing but problems for two months with the one and only device I own,

I am so sorry. I have seen tons of issues with the FitBit Charge 3 and 4 in the FitBit community. My Charge 2 was great, but these newer models seem riffe with problems and issues.
