Cannot enter pairing mode

Having trouble getting the Charge 2 to enter the pairing mode.(22.22.54.6 level firmware). In other words, my Windows 10 Fitbit App is set up, my account is set up but when I go into Bluetooth on the windows settings it sees the Charge 2 but will not connect. I believe it is because the Charge 2 is not entering the 'discoverable' mode and I cannot figure out how to make the Charge 2 discoverable. Thanks.

@jhw80504 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

I will gladly assist you setting up your Charge 2. You can't change your Charge 2 bluetooth status. Try going to your device's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your device and restart your device. Also try the suggestions listed here.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks, let me make sure I understand. So you are asking me to go to my Windows 10 PC and delete all (20+) devices that it is paired to. Then to restart the PC and let it discover the Charge 2 and then pair same. Is that what I am to do?

Thanks

I tried this and it worked. So here is what I did. 1-got out an old windows 10PC as I did not want to unpair all devices on my main PC. 2-deleted all bluetooth paired devices. 3-Restarted the PC. 4 Downloaded the Fitbit app for PC. 5-after starting the app it found and connected to the Charge 2.

This also allowed me to do an update on the Charge. Previously when it was connected to an Android phone it would not update.

Thanks!
