Cannot factory reset my Charge 2

Hello,

My Charge 2 currently showing the date as 29th April  and the time as 12:15.

I have connected it to my laptop and charged the battery fully and have tried to reset it by pressing and holding the button on the side for about 7 seconds when the Fitbit logo is shown followed by the numbers  25.58.00. Then it says 'let's do this thing'.. but the date and time is still incorrect. Can anyone help please ?

Thanks,

John

Date and time are not affected by reset; they are taken from phone or other sync device each time it syncs.  That indicates that your tracker has probably not synced for a while, and that is your issue;  not that that solves your problem but maybe directs you in right direction.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
