Cannot pair with replacement tracker

Have deleted old tracker off app.  Tried to pair replacement tracker - go through all the steps and it pairs with the old one, even though I moved it outside!

If you let it pair with the old tracker and then try to add the device again it will ask if you want to replace your existing tracker. It should then remove the old tracker and add the new.

Did as suggested but it didn't add the new tracker, code went to the old
tracker! Thanks though
