Hi, so I've had my fitbit charge 4 for about a year now, and recently, it became unsynced. I tried syncing it back, but it didn't do anything. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Turned bluetooth on and off. Disconnected the charge 4 from bluetooth. Disconnected from the app. Tried doing new device. Got to the pairing code and now it's been stuck on the same screen for 15 minutes. I just want to use it, but I can't find any solution that's actually worked. Kinda seems like the **ahem** thing is chalked now, which is upsetting since I've only had it for a year.
Moderator edit: clarified subject.

Hi @Ellispades. Welcome to the community forums.
Thank you for taking the time to share the inquiry regarding your Charge 4 and for trying to fix it on your own.
I'd suggest making sure that your Charge 4 is fully charged in order to get it connected to your phone.
Please follow the steps below in the order listed:
With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Charge 4 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

My charge 4 gets to the code, then the app which is updated says I need to update the app.

Again- everything has been updated- tracker AND app. I’m not a newbie!
---
My charge 4 does the same thing and it tells me I need to update the app (I have) NONE of my trackers are working properly now. I’m not a happy camper. I’ve been a Fitbit user 10 years now and I have 4 that aren’t working properly.
---
Done all that! There is something fundamentally wrong with the new spyware in the app.

I have seen a lot of "problems" with setting up a Charge 4 that are only a result of no documentation of the current setup methods and options. In the old days the Fitbit creators were always working to help uses get their health data. These days it's a different world but my Charge 4 is still great!
