Cardio Fitness Score Changed

I'm getting pretty frustrated with the cardio fitness reading on my fitbit device. My cardio fitness has always been between 42 to 46,I'm 35, BMI of 21, 121lbs and a resting heartrate of 62 but a couple of months ago, my cardio fitness score dropped to 27! I have no health issues, I'm healthy, I exercise 5+ times a week etc. I also track my walks using the GPS on my fitbit. There is no way my cardio fitness is only 27 so I'm at a loss as to why this score has changed so drastically when nothing else has changed.

Is anyone else going experiencing something similar?

Hi there @Ashleyc1987. Welcome to Community Forums.

Thank you for this information and for sharing your experience. I'd recommend you check this article, What is my cardio fitness score?.

Have a good one.

Thanks for the reply, but unfortunately the article does not explain the issue I am having. There is no logical reason why my fitness score has dropped from being excellent to poor overnight when none of my health statistics have changed.

Hi there @Ashleyc1987, it's good to see you in the Community.

Thank you for this information. Have you checked or updated your information in your Fitbit profile?

I'll be around.

Hello,

I have checked the information in my profile and it looks like everything is as it should be.

Thanks!

Hi!
I had the exact same issue today. This morning my score was 47, in the afternoon the design changed and I’m 36.

I have been using Fitbit for at least 4 years, and my cardio score has always been 45 to 47. I don’t understand it either.

I just wanted to provide an update. After many months of my fitness score staying at 27, I decided to upgrade my device and my fitness score is once again at 44 to 46. (immediately after I added my new device) I don't understand why it's taken a new device to get my fitness score to change since all of my health metrics have stayed the same, but it certainly has me questioning the validity of these scores.

I agree Ashley. It makes me wonder the validity of their data model.

The opposite happened to me. When I changed to a new device, my score dropped and it hasn’t moved since then.

I don’t understand it.
