Charge 2 Battery

I’ve just replaced my Charge 2 device with a new Charge 2 device. It was fully charged and I wore it to bed and next morning the device shows an exclamation mark and Fibit app indicates no battery. The back of the device also does not have the flickering green lights. I recharged it and in less than a min, the device indicates the same thing. No battery in app. I’ve cleaned the device as recommended but still same result. It’s a new device. Please help? What is wrong?  Thanks

I would take it back to where if you got it and exchange it.

Thanks for your advise however, I don’t have the receipt with me so the store will not entertain me. Also this was bought some time ago but I didn’t check or use it until now that I wanted to pass the old device to a family member.
