I’ve had my charge 2 over a year now (was replaced due to a fault)
yesterday it died, no warning battery low flashes as usual. Came home and charged it. Showed full battery. Checked it before bed. Dead again. Charged it overnight, showed full battery this morning. Put it on. Half hour later, dead. Put it on charge and watched it, got to 40% in a few mins and then took it off to see what it did. Once off charge it went up to 60%, then 80% and finally 100%. All without actually being on charge. Can’t get through to support so unsure what I can do with thi
bump x2 - My FitBit Charge 2 has worked well for over a year (except the few times it couldn't connect with my phone using Bluetooth to access the GPS while jogging) but now the battery drains down to dead very quickly, in a few hours or less. I saw there are two YouTube videos on how to replace the battery, and one of the videos has a web-link to a service to replace the battery, but I'm wondering: does FitBit have a battery replacement service???? In particular, for the Fitbit Charge 2 ???
Best AnswerI'm wondering if they slowed the battery life down to make you purchase a new one after a certain time frame. Like 🍎 does with the phone's. I find it ironic that all of us are having the exact same problem around the exact same time. I haven't seen any other post about this problem prior to the past two weeks.
