Hi, how do you make a Charge 2 tracker discoverable to Bluetooth? I'm trying to connect my tracker to my Motorola G7 power mobile phone but when I try and connect via bluetooth I get a message saying that my phone can't find my tracker. Any suggestions please?

Hello! Welcome back @Supergrot I'm happy to see you posting in our forums. Let me help you out with your concern.

Let me share with you that the Motorola G7 power is not a supported mobile device, reason why you may experience certain difficulties connecting it with your Charge 2. However, this doesn’t prevent you from syncing as you can always sync using a computer by download Fitbit ConnectI recommend you to check this post  which will explain you how to download our Fitbit app in your computer as an alternate syncing option because your mobile device is not listed as compatible at this moment. Take in consideration that FItbit is always testing devices to add them to our compatibility list,

I’ll be around if you need anything else.

Thank you for your help. My Motorola G7 power will support my Fitbit charge HR tracker and I am able to sync the tracker using the Fitbit app on my mobile phone. So I don't need to set up the app on my computer.

BUT my phone will not send me notifications when I receive a SMS text and this is what I have been asking the forum about. If you could help me with setting up SMS notifications on my tracker so it will vibrate when I receive a message, that would be great.

Many thanks

Gretel

Hello @Supergrot you're welcome! Thanks for your reply and the details provided. My apologies for the delayed reply.

I've heard that some users are able to synchronize their Fitbit devices with incompatible mobile devices, which is absolutely great. However, this incompatibility situation may cause that some of the its features may not work the way we designed the device. That said, even though your Motorola G7 is not compatible with our products and services and this may affect the notifications features, lets give it a try to our help article: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone. Also, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?.

Let me know if you need anything else, I'll be here!
