Charge 2 Heart Rate Sensor Not Working

The heart rate sensor is no longer working on my charge 2. Yesterday I noticed it was showing an extremely elevated heart rate and that I was in cardio mode most of the day which was not the case. Then today I noticed it has only recorded 3 hours of sleep when I’ve actually had over 8. The green light is not showing either. I have tried plugging the Fitbit in and pressing the button in to restart the device. I have done this several times and it is still not recording any heart rate. Help

please?
