Charge 2 Heart Rate

Hi,

My charge 2 shows heart rate even while not wearing it. I am not sure about the accuracy of it while I am wearing it. I have tried all the steps mentioned in other threads but still see the same issue poping up.

Thanks

I never rely on the heart rate monitor. By comparison to the monitor of say, a treadmill, the numbers can be insanely out of sync. Fitbit reads MUCH lower than the treadmill and after a good set of sprints I feel way 'higher' so-to-speak than the bit reads; the treadmill reading considerably higher... sometimes upwards of 40pts.

Trust it NEVER.

In my opinion.

Hey @DR9841, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! I wanna thank you for taking the time to troubleshoot this inconvenience with the heart rate on your Charge 2. Just to confirm, I'd like you to tell me exactly what steps did you try.

@Smashthatfreaki, hope you are doin' fine! When you are working out, have you made sure that you are correctly wearing your Charge 2? If you haven't, I'd like you to take a look at this help article: How do I track my heart rate with my Fitbit device?

I'll be around guys!

Yes; been wearing it correctly.
I've never trusted it completely since the beginning and after reading
articles surrounding the issue.

After reading the bit's rate and repeated comparison, I conclude it's not
THAT accurate when in intense to high performance workouts. I do however,
use it more when weight lifting or say shoveling the driveway or low key
activity as it seems to read better then.

A guide if you will. At most.
