Charge 2 Not Syncing

ANSWERED

I've not synced my charge 2 for a long time (november 2021 according to Fitbit)

anyway the time is incorrect compared to my iPhone / iPad and my wives Versa, so I tried to sync it.

the Macbook (only 6 months old) said it can't find the wireless dongle and to turn on bluetooth

But - bluetooth is already on (I have a bluetooth mouse)

I'm trying to do it on my phone via the app too but it's still trying to log in (15 minutes so far)

does anyone have any ideas I can try?

Hi there @NZNick, it's good to see you around in the Community.

I appreciate the troubleshooting steps performed. I'd recommend you unpair your device from bluetooth and then pair it again, check this article.

You can try to restart your device by following these instructions.

And also check this article, Why won't my Fitbit device sync?.

Hi Lucio,

I have the same problem happening almost daily. Any ideas why this is happening? It syncs to my phone app for a while, and suddenly stops (especially if I try to manually sync by pulling down the screen), and I find I'm having to resync each time. Sometimes it can take several attempts before I can get it to sync again, which can be extremely frustrating and time-consuming.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Hi there @Funnyfarm01. Welcome to Community Forums.

I appreciate you share your concerns and the troubleshooting steps performed. I'd recommend you check you have the latest Fitbit Firmware and OS of your mobile device, then restart your device.

Proceed with the following steps:

- Force quit the Fitbit App.

- Turn off the bluetooth of your cell phone.

- Turn back on the bluetooth of your cell phone.

- Open the Fitbit App.

- Force sync the Fitbit device.
