Charge 2 was working just fine, when I noticed a burning sensation. Charge 2 me showing battery signal with an exclamation point in it. Any advice on what the problem is and how it is fixed?

Wondering how this turned out? My fitbit charge 2 did the same thing today while I was working. I noticed it was heating up on my arm. I took it off and the battery was flashing with an ! As well. Stayed hot for about 30 minutes after I took the fitbit off. Now It won't charge or turn on. 

Would like some help to resolve this issue.
