Charge 2,, 1,5 years old. Screen turned black within 2-3 days, step by step from left to right. No problems before. All functions still measuring but with black screen.
What can be done to recovery screen?

My screen went blank a couple of days ago. Holding the reset for 4 seconds didn't help. I decided to hold the reset longer than recommended and after about 15 seconds the display was working again and it's remained working. Hope this helps.

Yes, it was the function button I pressed. However, after working fine for a couple of days my Fitbit display is blank again. I'm going to try a factory reset to see if that will work. If it does I'll post my results.

My charge 2 is nearly 2 years old and it has stopped working, not charging after several restarts. Is the lifespan of this product so short!!!!. Is the expectation that we buy a new device every year!!!! If that is the case, then fitbit must look at their pricing structure.
