Charge 2 Serial Number

I have purchased a new smart watch and I'm trying to take account of a trade-in offer, but I'm being requested to provide the serial number of the watch. 

As I understand it there is no way to retrieve the Charge 2 serial number if you don't have the box. 

Is there a definitive source that I can refer to that sates that it not possible to retrieve the serial number from the watch itself?

Hi @Goodjob66  Fitbit doesn't have trade in programs in place for their devices. You can always ask customer service how to get a serial number.

Hi @Odyssey13 - It’s a Samsung trade in program that I am referring too. I've dropped Fitbit support an email as well.
