I'm just trying to set up my Charge 2, straight out of the box. I say this because this was a present from a while back and it was mistakenly packed away. So, this is why it's an older model but still a new and unused item.
I have tried to pair and sync it on three different devices, which are listed as compatible. I've had the same problem with all three devices, thought the Charge 2 seems to be working.
Most of the time when I try to set up the Fitbit I get the following:
Not working?
Make sure your tracker is charged and turned on. (It appears to be is good working order.)
If there are other trackers nearby, move them away. (None in area.)
Turn off Bluetooth on your mobile devine, there turn it on again. (Tried numerous times.)
On each of the three devices, at least once, I received the message: "We found your tracker." After I hit "next" I receive the message: "connecting." Then it returns to the "Not working" page.
In Bluetooth settings the Fitbit doesn't turn up at all, even on the list of unpaired devices in the vicinity.
Any help is appreciated. I don't want this to be a complete wast of time and money.
