Charge 2 Syncing but not updating

 My charge 2 says "Syncing" and even says "last sync was 10 minutes ago" but the dashboard is completely blank even though Fitbit has logged over 10,000 steps today. I don't have a laptop, I usually sync via a dongle/usb on my phone (I got a Huawei P8 lite at Christmas and the Fitbit won't sync with that phone, but that's a whole other problem!) I don't want to loose the last few days steps... Tia. 😁

Never heard of syncing via dongle/USB on phone.  With the Huawei P8 or another phone?  Could you elaborate please?

 

Has it ever shown anything on dashboard since syncing this way?  And on what device is this dashboard?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I attach this to my phone, put the Fitbit beside it, clicked sync and it
used to update all data, but wont work lately.... Says it has sync'd but no
data carries over....

Are you talking about the Fitbit dongle, or is this a separate USB device bluetooth dongle, for adding bluetooth for any application, not just Fitbit?  And your phone has a USB port?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Is anyone going to help here? I have the same issue, my fitbit charge 2 syncs with no problem BUT it doesn't carry over the data. so the actual fitbit says 9865 steps but after syncing ZERO on everything. I've tried to restart it twice with my laptop and still the same issue.
