Ever since I updated to my Google account earlier this week (since I kept getting a message to update or my device would no longer sync) my battery drains daily. It used to last over a week. This is why I loathe updating anything on phones and watches. It’s like it’s a ploy to break the current device and force the purchase of a new one. I tried to reboot it and that didn’t help. I was at a full charge an hour ago and I’m already down to 65%. This is ridiculous. This device worked perfectly until the update was made!! How does the battery last for well over a week and then all of a sudden drain daily once an update is made???

Hey @JustJen1313, welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!
I'm glad to help you with the battery life issues you are recently experiencing with your Charge 2 after the Google migration.
I appreciate all the troubleshooting steps you have already tried. Thanks for your feedback too. Rest assured, i'll find a solution for you.
For battery life issues we usually suggest some tips that apply in certain cases when battery consumption is affected by some features. See Extend your Fitbit device's battery life > Tips to extend your Fitbit device's battery life.
I understand the issue started after the update but I invite you just to check these tips to see if the performance improves to an acceptable level.
I'll be around

Yeah - everything on my Fitbit and phone is current. I’ve tried the solutions mentioned and they don’t help. Also, why should I have to all of a sudden now turn off so many features? If I can’t use my Fitbit as it was meant to be used it would just be a pointless accessory. The fact of the matter is, the migration was forced and now my device which NEVER had an issue all of a sudden has a battery that dies daily rather than lasting over a week. And I’m not the only one frustrated by this as I have seen other posts with the same issue. I charged my battery overnight, I’ve been wearing it for 30 minutes and it has already drained 15%.
