Charge 2 blank screen but syncing

Have had my charge 2 hr for a few years and it has never had any problems. Last week, the screen suddenly jammed and became pixelated. Then the screen went blank. I thought it might be a battery issue and put it on the charger for an hour. When I checked on it again, the green lights on the back would light up and the fitbit would buzz when I tried to reset it but the screen would not turn on. I thought it might need more charge so I charged it for a few more hours. Same problem. I tried to reset and a factory reset but no luck. I then let the battery die so that I might restart it but the screen still doesn’t turn on. Similar threads seemed to provide no answers.
