My Fitbit Chage 2 device has gone blank, i have used it for almost 6 years now..., the app and data storage work's on my mobile, in the background. I have tried the long press to restart (one button) and there's absolutely no response. Any help to resolve would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @EBROWN33 sounds like it's time for a new Fitbit. Almost six years is a good life span for the device.
The Charge 2 was retired in 2018 and no updates for it are planned. According to Fitbit: "Our devices typically receive software updates for at least two years after the device is last sold on Fitbit.com, but over time it will not run as smoothly as our newer devices. Eventually we must discontinue software updates, support and ability for our devices to pair with the Fitbit app."
The batteries don't last forever, too.

My Charge 5 lasted 16 weeks. Not such a great life span.

Thank you for the information, seems I had bought it not knowing it was already retired (2018). I also paid a high price for it..., nevertheless it has given me an immense boost to keep up my daily fitness routine. I have to search for something new now with the cost factor in mind. Thanks again ...!
