Got my Charge HR as a gift in 2017. Worked for about 2 years, then got the stalled progress bar during a firmware upgrade. I jumped through all of the hoops recommended, then set it aside. Every 6 months or so, I've tried all the recommended steps again. Just wondering if, after all this time, someone has come up with a solution that actually works for the more stubborn units. A new device is not, nor has it been ever, in my budget.

Hello @Biker1951 and welcome to the Community. The Charge HR was moved to Legacy status in 2020. It no longer receives any support. Fitbit removed all firmware updates for older devices. If you found one, never used, sealed in its package, you couldn't update it. Please recycle it properly. Rechargeable batteries can't go in regular trash.
