Hey all, my charge 2 keeps vibrating continously, turning on and off the notifications. Anyone else had this problem?

It is very possible that it could be because the software gets stuck on the notification and continues vibrating. My suggestion would be to try restarting your Charge 2 and see how it goes after that.

I’m having the same problem except after I charged it and then did the restart it’s still going! Sometimes it repeatedly vibrates starting and stopping the stopwatch or turning on and off notifications. It’s as if the button is stuck and being held down continuously. Help

I'm having the same issues with the above users.  It started last night and I woke up from the vibrations.  I took it off my wrist and plugged it in.  I tried the restart, then when I took it off the charger this morning I began to have issues with the stopwatch.  I clicked the side button twice, then it began switching throughout all of the settings.  As of now it is stuck on the stopwatch, but the time is not running.  The screen is remaining on (which is draining the battery), but at least it is no longer vibrating. Can you please share how to resolve this?

I am having almost the same problem. About 2 weeks ago stopped recording heartbeat regularly, last week stopped recording sleep patterns, for the last month when I take of charging the rapidly changes constantly takes a while to get it to stop. Last night went to sleep on a full battery by morning it was dead. Charged fully and 15 mins later was dead again. Won't hold charge and not tracking. Help!

Hi,

My charge 2 is doing the ecact same thing as described above. It started about one hour ago.

I managed to sync, charge and reset; still persist. As described above it either goes to stop watch or notifications then cycle through and vibrating.

The vibrating stop when its on charge.

Eagerly await you reply.

Regards,

John

Hello,

I have the same issues as above. My charge 2 woke me up last night constantly turning the notifications on and off and wouldn't stop vibrating until I put it to charge. I've tried turning it off and on, I reset it in the app, and I let it drain the battery and then charge fully. Now it keeps skipping between different menus on the screen and the button won't work.

What can I do?

Thank you,

Bekkie

This quote literally describes my situation as of last night/this morning.  Made me so mad in the middle of the night I nearly woke the baby (melady would have killed me).  But I didn't, so she didn't, and now I'm still here with a fitbit charge 2 that thinks the button is being perma-pressed and is not just about out of juice again.  Please help.

This post describes my exact same situation, notification settings toggling between on and off, constantly vibrating. Looks like side button might be depressed on one side, but seem to get it unstuck.

Hello

My charge 2 started doing the same thing overnight... seems like a lot if people suddenly having the same issue.

It's currently useless... tried numerous restarted however unsuccessful.

Has there been any positive outcomes to fixing this issue?

No there’s no fix, the support team contacted me and wanted a video of the Fitbit doing the issue and me to ship it to see if they could do anything. Since I bought it at Best Buy I took it there, they said it’s really common esp after a year or so that sweat and dirt etc gets in and shorts it out and so I just replaced it with a later model which I hope lasts longer 😕
