Hi @Chamhi welcome aboard, I'm glad to respond your compatibility inquiry.

I'd like to let you know that Fitbit is always testing and working with new mobile devices to verify if our users can enjoy the full Fitbit experience with our products and services on such devices. This compatibility concern usually prevents the use of certain features or the connection as itself with both devices. Therefore, in the meantime we add the Huawei P30 Pro on our list of compatible devices, I recommend you to use your Charge 2 with a compatible device or computer to avoid any connection difficulties. If you're unable to use another mobile device at this moment, please let me know if you're having any concern with your device so we can try some troubleshooting steps.

I'll be here if you need anything else. Let me know if you have any additional questions Smiley Happy

Hi, I'm also having comparability issues with my Huawei P30 Pro and Charge 2. I can't see it on the list of compatible devices?

Thanks in advance

ok, so I have downloaded the fitbit app to my Huawei p30 pro and it wont sync with my charge 2 even though the device is paired via blue tooth. I have since downloaded the app on to my daughters phone, iPhone 7, and the charge 2 connects and syncs to it. logged into the same account the data from my fitbit shows up on the app on my p30 pro...when I was in work today, away from my daughters device, my phone did connect to the charge 2 and did sync data, on returning home, my p30 no longer syncs the data only the iPhone...when I log out of or disconnect the fitbit  from the iPhone it disconnects from the p30 pro.

Can you advise me what I need to do? please!

Hello! Welcome aboard @Beckrawr and thanks for your reply @Chamhi let me help you with your inquiries. My apologies for the delay in responding.

@Beckrawr Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I suggest you to check my previous post where I recommend to try with a compatible device or computer due to this compatibility situation. If after trying with another compatible mobile device or with your computer you continue having difficulties, please let me know.

@Chamhi Seems odd that your Charge 2 synced with your Huawei P30 Pro even though is not listed as compatible. As previously mentioned, I'm aware that some users were able to sync their Fitbit devices with incompatible mobile devices, however, due to this incompatibility situation, these users encountered some connection difficulties, just as you're currently experiencing. Seems that the Bluetooth connection of your Huawei P30 Pro and your daughter's iPhone 7 are creating this situation too. That said, I recommend you to sync your Charge 2 device with the iPhone 7 and use the Huawei P30 Pro to check your stats only to avoid these difficulties.

Let me know if you have any additional questions. I'll be here.

Hey @siff welcome aboard, thanks for your post! My apologies for the delayed reply.

I'm happy to know that your Charge 2 is working fine with the Huawei P30 Pro. As per my previous post, some users are able to use incompatible devices with our products and services to sync and use certain features, however, because of our Fitbit app and firmware updates, the fact that this specific mobile device is still not a fully-compatible device, we as Fitbit cannot ensure a proper and fully performance of our Fitbit devices.

See you around, let me know if you need anything else.

Hey I'm in the same boat I have the same phone  and same fitbit and it won't sync to my app.  I have it  syncing fine on my iPad but nothing works with the phone.  Such a pain in the butt! I thought about upgrading my Fitbit but maybe that won't even help.

Hi I had trouble syncing my Fitbit charge 2 and my Huaewi p30 pro. I also had issues when I got it synced with it not logging my info or allowing notifications (call and texts) through onto my fitbit. To fix this go to settings, battery, app launch and change to manage automatically and tick all options that pop up. I now get all my calls and texts through to my fitbit. It syncs to my phone app so all my steps etc are being logged. It's taken me 8 month to get it working but finally it's fixed.
