Charge 2 deleting steps during sync

Hi all, my FB Charge 2 today started deleting steps when it syncs.  I should have around 200 steps so far, but for a while it wasn't counting steps at all.  Then it started counting but every time it synced it either deleted steps entirely or reduced them (as in going from 61 to 19).  The battery is at 60%.  I tried turning bluetooth off/on and that worked at first, but I walked a little in the office then did a sync to see what would happen and the steps were still deleted.  I work in a rural area with low/slow connectivity, would that possibly be affecting it at all?

@ALBunny Welcome to the Fitbit Community.

I'm sorry to hear that your walked steps are getting deleted after syncing. I would recommend making sure you are not logging a driving activity during the time you want your Fitbit Charge 2 record your steps. This activity is used to delete extra data recorded while driving. For more information please visit this article.

From the online Dashboard fitbit.com > Log > Activities, you can check out the graph and time of your activities. If you delete the drive activity you will get your missing steps back.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any question.
