My charge 2 was being recharged overnight and when I picked it up to reuse it all I get is a scrolling WWW. Fiftbit.com/setup. Tried restarting and cleaning contacts to no avail. Tried to resync watch no help. Is battery dead? or what.

Hi @RLAm, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here. Let me share with you that your Charge 2 is showing such message because it was unexpectedly unpaired from your account, therefore, you'll need to set it up as it was a new device. To do so, I recommend you to check all the information that's specified on: How do I set up my Fitbit device? to check if all the requirements are correctly configured to setup your device.

Then, you can move forward and try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.

Let me know if further assistance is needed and if you have any additional questions.

Message on my apt says battery empty. Have cleaned contacts , restarted and tried to recharge to no avail, all I get is to go to fitbit setup. Setup says try to sync which I can not do from my phone now.

Your update is appreciated @RLAm.

The Fitbit app is showing that the battery of your device is empty because of the last time you try it to sync it. If the issue is that your Fitbit is now syncing anymore, please check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your Android mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.

Then, you can move forward and try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.

Keep me posted.
