Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @dtraver05. Thank you for letting us know that you tried rebooting your Charge 2 and the display stays black.

Please confirm that you have followed these steps to restart your tracker:

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
  4. Press and hold the button to restart your tracker for 4 seconds. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.

Hi - I have the same trouble as mentioned in the original post (charge 2 no display) - I tried these steps- didn’t work. I tried changing the clock face settings on the app- didn’t work. What wake should I do?

For anyone else having this issue please restart the tracker first 3 times in a row by doing the following: Plug the charging cable to your computer or UL certified wall adapter. Align the contacts of the tracker with the charging cable and plug it in making sure it snaps securely. Your tracker should start charging.

Regards,

Will
