My battery was dead so I charged it. I went back a few hours later and it won’t turn on. I messed around with the charger and I can’t get the battery to pop up on the faceplate but it vibrates when I put it on the charger (as it normally would). The green lights are functioning on the back. I would think the faceplate is broken however when I have it charging and hold down the button the battery populated but then disappears (and was kinda fuzzy and not centered ). Any suggestions, I love it and don’t want a new one! I briefly looked and don’t think m they make them anymore. Thanks in advance
The exact same thing happened to me last night! The screen just faded away. Any advice would be great because I love it and use it all the time for fitness classes and sleep tracking. I cannot afford to just buy a new one. They are so expensive!
Best AnswerI am still wearing it since I have such a bad tan line (haha), and today I noticed it vibrates as it normally would (when I need to get in steps before the hour or when I hit my steps for the hour). Any advice?
Best AnswerLol. I'm still wearing mine too because it does still track my sleep and steps and records my fitness in classes. When I go to my phone to sync all the info is there. It's just the watch face itself that is completely blank! So can't see the time or heart rate, which is another thing I use it for a lot because of my high blood pressure. I haven't heard anything back from Fitbit.i emailed them day before yesterday.they said they possibly wouldn't reply for at least 2 days because they are dealing with a high number of customers.
I do hope that our fitbits can be fixed or replaced. ☺️
Best AnswerUpdate for charge 2.
The display is still blank and now the heart rate bit isn't working properly either which means it can't track sleep or fitness in any detail. 😢
Basically they told me to perform a restart on the fitbit... Plug it in to charger then hold button in for 4 seconds until you see fitbit logo... which I already did but if the display isnt working then this is completely pointless!
After emailing them again and waiting another 3 or 4 days they just asked me to give them details of purchase so they can check warranty.

Best AnswerAw man it really sucks doesn’t it?! I couldn’t quite remember which month i had bought it but turns out it was about 3 months past the warranty 🤦🏼:female_sign: Typical! But they offered me a 25% discount on a new one. So will possibly use it when they send me the email with the link.
I sincerely hope your new fitbit doesn’t fail like this one did lol.
