Charge 2 heart rate zones or GPS data missing from activities

Hi everyone, hope someone has the anwser to this. I can't find it in the guide.

( sorry if grammar is not correct  english is not my first language).

A few weeks ago when i would do a run.

In the app a small map would show of where i had been and also ! my heart rate within the zones (cardio, peak or calory) for the duration of the run.

Super was really happy with that since i had picked up running again with my relatively new charge 2.

But 😞 Now it only shows either one. So figured out that i either have the fitbit (app) auto recognize my run and it will show the amount of time i was in the different heart rate zones with a small graph of it as well.

OR i will start the training manually via the app At the end it will only show me the map of the run and how many calories i've burned but not the heart rate zones as mentioned above.

Did i accidentaly change some settings ???? How can i adjust this so that it shows both again

edit : i just checked it has changed between 12 and 14 of august so not sure if it has to do with software update....

Thanx in advance

I have become very disillusioned with FitBit. I have reported this problem since July. I was so excited when the last two updates came out, but they didn’t fix the problem. Maybe you can contact them via chat or email and express that you are having an issue with your NEW upgraded model. I am now looking at Apple Watch. I’m known in my family for buying FitBits for Nieces and Nephews when they turn 10 to get them away from a computer screen. Not any longer. Good Luck

I have had hours long “chats” to discuss the LACK of heart rate monitoring and ESPECIALLY the AVERAGE heart rate during exercise. Their response on multiple occasions is downright insulting. They want to imply that I don’t know how to insure my GPS is on.....I have tried since July to get an answer.

My wife got their top of the line Ionic for me .  The actual Fitbit is fine but....  I have had almost constant problems with getting it to sync properly.   I have reported It and their response has been absolutely CRAP.  I am so disappointed with Fitbit.  Apple Watch is looking very nice also!

I had been an iOS Strava app user for a while before I got a Fitbit Charge 2.  I was ecstatic to discover that my heart rate data from Fitbit could seamlessly augment data I was already tracking and analyzing in Strava.  I had a very positive impression of Fitbit and expressed that to anyone who would listen.

However, several months ago my tracked running activities began to be consistently missing the heart rate data.  The GPS track, pace, etc. are always as expected, but the heart rate data was now missing.

The crucial added value of Fitbit is now missing.

My Fitbit Charge 2 is sensing my heart rate correctly, as I can see in the Fitbit screen or the Fitbit app, so that's not the root cause.

Any help is appreciated.

I too had an extraordinaryly positive experience with FitBit Customer service for many years. That ended this past July when my Fitbit app no longer tracked or displayed my heart rate during exercise activity. At times it would display the overall graph of the exercise period, however it does not display or track the AVERAGE HEART RATE during exercise. That’s a critical number, along with the graph. It’s a critical number for me due to health reasons. The only thing I can suggest is for you to go into your help settings and try to communicate your (our) problems with Fitbit. You might also voice this on Twitter and you might get a response. It was unbearable “chatting” with them through the app because I wasted hours and they were condescending in suggesting it was a my GPS problem or that I didn’t utilize the app properly as if I were a **ahem**. Ultimately I decided I was communicating with a bot. Good luck to you. Keep me posted
