Charge 2 looses time occasionally

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have experienced a couple of times now that I wake up and the Charge 2 shows the wrong time such as the middle of the night even though it is morning. This causes me to oversleep because I'm not notified by the vibrate alarm since it also thinks it is not morning.

I have not noticed that the battery is particularly low when this happens.

I have the latest firmware.

Is the unit defective or is there something I can do to fix it?

@awarberg Welcome! Thanks for being part of our Community! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your Charge 2 time. The time will be updated every time it syncs so lets try refreshing the link between your phone and your tracker by doing the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

Make sure that all day sync is enabled on your Fitbit app.

Let me know how it goes.
