Charge 2 loosing steps after sync

My charge 2 is losing steps when charged, tonight it was on 21,000 steps before I synced it but after syncing it changed to 18,000. This is the 3rd day this has happened over the last 7 days? Is anyone experiencing this problem?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device are you using to sync your Charge 2? When was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? Is this affecting steps only or do you experience the same inconvenience with other stats like floors, distance, etc.? Also and for a better understanding, the information changes on the device itself or the Fitbit app? In other words, your Charge 2 displays 21,000 steps but only 18,000 are synced, or the amount changes on the Charge 2?

In the meantime I receive your answers, please try our restart process and troubleshoot the Fitbit app with the following steps:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the operating system version of your phone is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.
