Charge 2 not charging

I have charged my Fitbit and ta says fully charged but then the “!” Comes on the screen when I put it on to use and  the underside lights are always on really bright. This is the first time it’s doing this. I’ve restarted and still no luck. I’ve also got the 2258.00 software so not sure what’s happening . Someone help please

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @GBK256. Thank you for letting us know that you have restarted your Charge 2 correct your Charge 2  and that you got the 22.58.0 software.

Usually when the "!" shows is that your tracker needs to be updated or charged. How long does your tracker's battery last? Is it still showing very bright underside lights?

I’ve updated software, changed charging cable and it’s still doing it . Charges abs says full but as soon as a i is sit it shows the “!” And yes the lights underneath arrow really bright 

so frustrating and not sure what’s wrong
