Charge 2 not keeping accurate step count

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

For several days now my charge 2 is lagging about 2000 steps by end of the day. I have reset it, I have turned off bluetooth and reconnected. This seems to help for the first 100 steps following but then starts dropping steps again. What else can I do?

@Pittmans65 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your Charge 2 not counting your steps. Your device will detect the movement on your arm and translate that movement into steps. There are situations in which your arm may be still but you could be moving or walking. This may happen when you are pushing a cart or holding bars while walking or doing treadmill. For added sensitivity you can try wearing your device on your dominant hand but select that hand as non dominant on the device’s settings to make it more sensitive to movement. Also make sure your hands are moving so the device can properly track your steps.

Let me know how it goes.
